Ike Catcher, Green Beret… NOT!!

Ike was brought tour attention by a member of a vetted SF forum. The pictures shared immediately looked more than suspect, to the point of being comical. 

Another SF Brother, Jeff Bxxxxx reached out to him in a professional manner, explaining what it takes to earn the Green Beret via his Instagram account and asked him to remove those pictures. He was immediately blocked, after he was told to “Get a life”.

We reached out to him also. He could at that point either removed the pictures or go into an explanation as to why/when/where they were taken. He did not. He alluded to the fact that that he might have been Austrian Royal Guard. We can find no unit called Austrian Royal Guard that’s an active unit. We could find the Austrian Guard Company, yet they wear a red beret.

Some in the Bundesheer do wear a Green Beret but the crest is totally different than the crest he was sporting. He then asked us to remove the stick in our ass. Hmmm 

Also, we noticed his hash tags of #Green#Beret. He never once hash tagged #AustrianRoyalGuard.

As a side note, the Beret he tried to claim was Austrian Royal Guard, happened to have the US Special Forces 5th Group Flash and US Special Forces crest on it. No ties to anything Austrian on the beret. 

So, with the help of Jeff Bxxxxx we started a small campaign to alert his sponsor and others he has business ties to.

In only a matter of days he decides its time to apologize and remove the pictures. He could have handled this so mush different. 

On a side note: he states this was a photoshoot. If you look at the pictures, it looks like different places over a period of time. His boxers are different depending on the picture and his facial hair is also.

Ike Catcher, You were never an Austrian Royal Guard (as they don’t currently exist). You were also never a Green Beret.

SF Green Beret Jeff B, who you refer to in the article, is my son. He is the toughest man I’ve ever known. He is also the gentlest, kindest, and most caring man I’ve ever known.

Most sons aspire to be like their father. I aspire to be like my son. The day he signed for the Army he became the man I wish I could have been.

Graduation day as a Green Beret, he was my proof that an average good man can raise a great man.

I love you, Jeff.

This news is pretty sad for me because I knew the guy. The 1998 overwrite should read that he was the commander of C Troop, 1-18 Cav. I don't recall him wearing any tabs or badges. I am glad that a 19th Group (Guard) guy brought this to your attention. To me this casts a shadow of suspicion with anybody in the Guard. He left the Guard prior to GWOT. I think that the Guard did our share in GWOT with multiple mobilizations and deployments. I was mobilized twice, including a year in Afghanistan as an Infantryman. FRANCO K WEBB is a LYING POSER. He and I were BEST FRIENDS during the time he CLAIMS 7th GP 18D (MY MOS and MY Duty assignment - ODA 755/754, O&I, SWC G Co SFAS, 1st Bn S3).

He was NEVER ASSOCIATED WITH, ASSIGNED TO, in SUPPORT OF, or attended ANY TRAINING that would qualify his claim of being an 18D.

He was a CAR STEREO SALESMAN and INSTALLER on Yadkin Road the ENTIRE TIME I KNEW HIM. We were in Westarea Fire Department TOGETHER and he lived in a trailer on Haretown road.

It APPEARS that he has taken some of MY SF TRAINING, HISTORY and BACKGROUND, claimed it as his own, and further EMBELLISHED those stories for his own video game centered bravado.

He probably never will. The 7th Grp picture he pretends is his is an ODA from the mid-'80s. We've identified all men in the picture. It also looks like he added a Ranger Tab to his website. He's never before claimed Ranger so this is strange.

He and Mike Mika (President of SFA Ch 34) threatened to sue the SFA National if they didn't rescind the letter they sent us, give Rudi a formal apology, and re-instate him as a member in good standing. Of course SFA National refused and nothing came of his idle threat.

Mike Mika has twice, along with Rudi Gresham the fake Green Beret claimed that Rudi spent 12 years in the S.C. National Guard and that's where he attained the rank of LTC. Neither time were they able to produce records that baked up that statement.
