Franco was sent to us long ago when someone saw a news article about him while he was running for mayor of Fayetteville NC. In the article, he claimed to have been in 7th SFG(A). We put him on the action item list and as all too often is the case, he slipped into the abyss as other more pressing cases came in.

Fast forward to when he ran for mayor a second time. Others reached out again so we reached out to the SF schoolhouse and they saw no record of him having attempted Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) much less the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC).
While we waited on official records from HRC and NPRC, we collected his SF footprint on the web. We found several places where he had claimed Special Forces including his own Linkedin account.
We also found a YouTube video of him claiming to be an 18D (Special Forces Medic). You can click this link to hear him in his own words. Our phone call with him is included immediately after the one we found of him claiming SF.

In the video above, you clearly hear him claim to have gone through selection and the Q-course and became an 18D. Once said it cannot be undersaid. You also hear him on the phone with us trying to say he never claimed that, that he was misunderstood, that his ex-wife did his LinkedIn... Almost everything except taking responsibility and admitting he lied.
We think when we hammered him with the fact we had the YouTube video, he finally came clean. He said he'd send an apology email, which was also a lie as he still has yet to send the article.

Also, if Franco Webb the fake Green Beret has taken your money without performing services, send us an email. It seems he has around 35ish civil charges and several criminal charges. He's also been evicted for nonpayment of rent too many times to count, declared bankruptcy twice, and lied in writing on a city of Fayetteville-provided job application when he applied to be on the HRC.
