We were sent Jim Browning by some people who have heard him make claims over the years. He claimed to be a 30-year soldier in Special Operations and retired as a Colonel.
We had the individual call us who had sent in the first email asking if Jim Browning was indeed a Green Beret. We told him we could get records but would need more than a single email to move forward. He then sent us a charity bio of Jim Browning the fake Green Beret who was on the board.

As we waited for records, additional emails came in. They all told the same story.

We decided to call him and get his side of the story. We already had a call he had with someone where he claimed to be a summer Ranger and talked about him not having to go to Alaska in the Q-Course (Special Forces Qualification Course).

Jim was adamant that he never made any of those claims. We told him we had heard it on a recorded phone call. He was still in denial until he realized we were also recording the call. He then reluctantly decided to make a very carefully worded apology with the promise to not claim to be a Green Beret moving forward. He was still saying he never claimed to be a Ranger yet you clearly hear him claim to be a Summer Ranger in the first call.
He told us he would be open to a second call after we reached back out to those who sent in emails. We tried him both via a phone call and text multiple times without any luck.
