Roger Case was sent to us by someone that follows our Facebook forum 👉Guardians of the Green Beret on FB👈 back in 2018. We had his records in a timely manner yet we always try to reach out to the individual first and allow them a chance to respond. We now believe that's a bridge too far as we tried to contact him with no response.
If we were sent just this single picture of him below...
Why do frauds often pick an oversized Flash?
We would think it was a funny Halloween costume and have a good laugh, yet we also found pictures of him wearing Special Forces hats and t-shirts. We think the hats, t-shirts, pins, uniform and green beret with 5th Grp Flash that we found on 4 different profiles he has, would lead one to believe he is indeed claiming to be a Green Beret in Vietnam and a Sniper. Both of those claims are false.
While scanning his social media presence, we found he shared the picture you see below...
Note to frauds worldwide: Do your research before you start running your lie, and at least get an era correct picture.
On one of the pictures Roger Case the fake Green Beret says it's him in the Ashau Valley 1968.
On a second profile he says it him with MACV-SOG in 1970, detached from the NSA. Those screenshot can be seen in the picture section.
Note to Frauds: When running a lie, don't use the same picture twice with conflicting dates.
Well, there are a few issues with that picture that was shared twice with different dates.
1) You can't have the exact same picture 2 years apart
2) The picture is in pristine condition. It looks like a digital picture taken with modern technology. Not a 53 year old picture.
3) Doo Rag's like that would have been made from a solid OD green bandage or tourniquet such as the one you see Jerry "Mad Dog" Shriver wearing.
True legit SF legend.
The Doo Rag in the picture that Roger Case the fake Green Beret claims is him in both '68 and '70, is using the direct to garment process. That wasn't invented until 1996.
4) Headsets like that didn't come out until the 80's. This looks like a Telex Pro.
5) That Camo Woodland pattern wasn't used in the Vietnam era.
6) The rifle in that picture look like a Sig Sauer SSG 2000 which wasn't produced until 1989
From all of our research, we believe this picture that Robert claims is him as a time traveling teleporter in both 1968 and 1970 in Vietnam, is actually of Serbian origin. That picture is shared 100s of times over the internet and reverse image searching always leads back to Serbia. We were able to find this...
It seems all origins of this picture lead back to Serbia from reverse image searches
It's a picture of a Serbian Sniper from the 72nd Special Forces Brigade During Kosovo. That time frame would also coincide with all the other dates we found for what's in that picture.
We didn't originally save the picture you see below with Roger wearing a Werewolf Sniper t-shirt as we thought it irrelevant yet we went back and snagged it after we saw in his bio he actually claimed to be a "Werewolf Scout Sniper". LOL
Roger both wearing a "Werewolf Sniper" t-shirt and claiming it in print.
If you look at Roger's 2-1 on line #1, it shows he did 80 months and 27 days as a 91B20. It doesn't show his units but it also does NOT show a Special Qualifications Identifier (SQI) of "S" or "P" such as 91B2S or 91B2P, meaning he wasn't Special Forces Qualified "S" (Pre 18 Series) nor was he even Airborne qualified or he would have the "P" SQI. We point that out as you must be Airborne qualified to be a Green Beret. He can't say he was Special Forces in the 80 months shown on his 2-1 because he wasn't Airborne. You then see him attempt the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) on line 5 see below. A better picture can be seen in the picture section.
Never Airborne and Never a Green Beret.
It shows he was NOT awarded the SQI of "P," meaning he failed to complete BAC, Ergo... never a GB up to that point and never after that point.
That being said, Roger Case the fake Green Beret did serve in Vietnam and received decorations and awards that most would be proud of as you see in his decorations and awards section:
Why the hell would he need to pretend to be a Green Beret and not be proud of his actual service?
When you serve 20+ years, why lie and claim 30?
Roger Alan Case aka The "Werewolf Sniper" you'll now be added to guardiansofthegreenberet.com hall of zeroes forever.
