Sam was sent to us by our friends at Gruntworks Facebook
Check them out and their website at the link below the article
They saw Sam Roland, fake Green Beret running his pie hole in a thread they had. When they looked at his profile, they saw him wearing both Ranger and SF Tabs among other things, so they reached out to us. You should always be careful who you run you pie-hole to.
We shared his picture in SF Brothers (vetted SF forum w/ 5300 Long Tabs) and nobody knew him to be SFQ’d.
A brother did actually know him yet said he never knew him to be SF. He said he’d reach out back channel with brothers in 7th Group. He came back with “nobody knows him”
After we couldn’t find a soul that knew him and the issues with what he was wearing, we sent for his records.
Well, Sam claims to have earned:

Special Forces Tab = False
3 rung ladder on his Marksmanship Badge? No SF guy would wear that.
Is that MP Brass on his collar? It's not crossed arrows.
He did earn:
Expert Badge M-16
Expert Field medical Badge
Aircraft Crewman Badge
So, it looks like he was a 91B1F Medical Specialist with 4/17th CAV. Nothing at all wrong with that service and he should have been proud of that. He served, most don't.
Sam Roland, you'll now be added to Guardians of the Green Beret Hall of Fakes, Frauds, and Phonies.
